As of tomorrow we will have been engaged for one month exactly! It's crazy that I've been able to get so much done in such a short amount of time. we didn't even make the decision about the month until a couple of weeks ago. It's amazing!
I found the dress in the first time to the bridal shop. The place we're getting married is the second place we looked at. Booking the place hooked up the catering and the cake and the alcohol and the rentals and...almost everything. My friend (Laura) is my photographer (once i get her the deposit and the contract!). Another friend (Trish) is going to borrow a camera from work to shoot (on video) the ceremony and important things at the reception (it is what she does for a living working for Intervention and all!). Another friend (Stacy) hooked me up with her friend (Jaya) who does makeup. We picked Mike's tux style last night. Our coordinator, Rozanna, is doing our flowers. Between Kathleen and I, my invites are almost done and I can start on the rest of the stationary. We just need a DJ, someone to do my hair, and a getaway car. Oh, and we need to figure out a block of rooms in San Marcos for everyone to stay. but that's not that much and I have 6 and a half months left to "plan." Now if only money materialized just as easily as everything else is falling in to place.
Today, I am feeling truly blessed! Now I'm off to bed.

You're sharing it all long distance by being on the other side of these posts. Don't fret! There will be plenty to be a part of once you're home. I want you to think about coming down here to stay with me at least for the week before the wedding. I think Jen is going to be in touch with you too about bridal shower and bachelorette party stuff to make sure that you can be here for some, if not all, of it! :) Love you!
I planned on being down there a week before the wedding :) That's for sure! Now, how I get there is still up in the air :P But that's a ways off and there will be plenty of time to worry about that later! Like when I'm back in the states!
